Log of Reason

When we went to Gunns Plains I made a man out of a log that was waiting for the fire. I used a shell for his hat, an emu feather from up at the wildlife park, Mummy’s scarf that had dyed all our clothes brown and a tea towel. I had lots of fun and spent ages drawing his face and making up stories. I called it the Log of Reason.
